Bye Bye Birdie (May 2026)
A rock star, a small town, and teenage hysteria — Bye Bye Birdie is a high-energy celebration of 1960s Americana. When heartthrob Conrad Birdie is drafted into the army, one lucky fan gets a goodbye kiss on live TV — but chaos erupts as romance, rebellion, and rock 'n' roll collide. We’re excited to announce that auditions for our spring production of Bye Bye Birdie will be on March 7th (Saturday) from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM in 5 minute increments. Auditions will be at First Christian Church (FCC) Hall, 1250 Nyssa Street in Junction City, directed by Cory Snyder. The performance dates are May 1st-3rd and 8th-10th. Adults, teens, and one 10-13 year old boy are needed for this performance. The Audition Panel for Bye Bye Birdie will be Cory Snyder, Emi Shipley, Naomi McCoy, and Kerry Wood.
